How is eDPI calculated?
eDPI equals mouse DPI multiplied by in-game sensitivity. For percentage-based sensitivity, first divide the displayed percentage by 100. Example: 800 DPI × 0.32 Valorant sensitivity = 256 eDPI. Compare eDPI within the same game, not between different games.

Open calculator →eDPI vs cm/360: know the difference
eDPI is a shorthand for the combination of your mouse DPI and the sensitivity value shown in one game. It helps compare two configurations in that same game.
cm/360 estimates the physical mouse distance required to turn the camera one full revolution. Because games use different mouse-look scaling, cm/360 is the better way to compare across games.
Why these tools are transparent
Every calculator shares its input assumptions and worked examples. We avoid guessing what sensitivity will make you a better player; hand size, habits, FOV and aim tasks all affect comfort.
Game conversion factors are community reference values that can change. Review our methodology and source notes before relying on an exact in-game match.
Frequently asked questions
What is eDPI?
Effective DPI is your mouse DPI multiplied by the sensitivity multiplier of one game. It is useful for comparing setups within that game.
How do I convert eDPI from 800 to 1600 DPI?
Keep eDPI constant by halving your in-game sensitivity when you double DPI. For example, Valorant 800 DPI at 0.32 becomes 1600 DPI at 0.16.
Can I compare Valorant eDPI with CS2 eDPI?
Not directly. Different games have different yaw values. Compare cm/360 instead, using a sensitivity converter and checking the result in-game.
Is high eDPI better than low eDPI?
No. It measures turn speed, not skill. Choose a setting that supports your aiming tasks and comfortable mouse travel.
